A blogging we will go....

Wow! I have learned that there are now over 94 million blogs. (There is definitely a Springsteen song there!) and I have found that I prefer using an aggregator to get updates automatically from everyone's blogs! It is much easier than clicking back and forth on our Library 2.0 wiki. I also have found that I prefer netvibes to bloglines (Thanks Chris!)

I am having so much fun reading everyone's blogs. There is so much to discover and consider. Thanks to everyone for being so candid!

I have a favorite library related blog. Michael Stephens presented at the Ontario Library Association conference about Web 2.0 and Libraries. His website is called Tame the Web. I am learning a lot from it!

I am interested in looking at blogs for our students at ALC. Years ago, I wrote an article about Freinet's teachings and how they might be used in Adult Learning Centres. I believe that blogs now offer an easier way for community to community sharing. I can see students sharing their writing via personal blogs. It would be easy for staff to get updates using RSS feeds! There is much to consider.

Thanks for visiting!
