My Favorite Scotch

Aberlour a'bunadh is a cask (60%) strength whisky that is aged in sherry butts. It is not cold-filtered. I had my first experience with this wonderful scotch at a tasting that was held last year as a fundraiser for a local highland dance club.

Later, when I was given a bottle as a wonderful present from my darling wife, I put it away for a special occassion. A few weeks ago, my little brother turned 40 so we had a nice chew of a'bunadh. This weekend when he was on his way to Parry Sound for a canoe trip, we had another shot. Moments with dear friends and family are very special. I have tucked the bottle away for another day... perhaps with you.
